*Participants will be able to describe the following phases of Moreno’s Developmental Theory: Doubling, Mirroring, and Role Reversal
*Participants will have opportunity to participate in live demonstrations of the psychodramatic techniques: Doubling, Mirroring, and Role Reversal.

This workshop will briefly address the social challenges of Adult Asperger’s. We will demonstrate role-training that provides “Aspies” with knowledge of appropriate responses in common situations. Action methods help this socially stressed population who lack integration of social cues. They then have the ability to learn new responses in situations they have not understood. There will be a psychodrama demonstration, processing, and handouts.
This is a 2013 Award Winner’s Workshop
Put the chaff aside and identify the key words in the therapy office more easily using Psychodramatic Methods to help you focus on your client’s process and patterns easily and quickly.
Faculty:
Debra Suskin Gion, LPC, CP; API Co-Founder; has been a counselor in private practice, psychodramatist, and trainer for over 29 years. She brings her appreciation of both the 45 minute therapy session and the focused psychodrama methodology to her work. She is now in private practice in Maricopa, Arizona.

Grayce Gusmano, MMFT, LPC, CP, is a Co-Founder of the Arizona Psychodrama Institute, a Certified Psychodramatist, a Masters Prepared Marriage and Family Therapist, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant/Certified EMDR Therapist, a Certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapist, a Trained Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist, and a member of the Executive Council of the American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama (ASGPP). She is Licensed as a Professional Counselor in the State of Arizona.
Soozi Bolte, LISAC, LPC, CP, PAT, is an Adjunct Faculty Member of the Arizona Psychodrama Institute, a Certified Psychodramatist, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and HAP Facilitator, a Trained Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist, and a certified sex addiction counselor. She completed a residency in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and is Licensed as a Professional Counselor and an Independent Substance Abuse Counselor in the State of Arizona.

WELCOME YOU TO THE ASGPP 75th Diamond Jubilee Anniversary Conference, Navigating Waves of Change: Discovering and Celebrating our Hidden Treasures, held on the shores of beautiful Clearwater Beach. They invite you to come early, bring your family and enjoy a vacation before and after the conference! Clearwater is home to Winter, the famous dolphin from Dolphin Tale. Not too far away in Tampa is Busch Gardens, while St. Petersburg boasts the Dali Museum. And of course, there is the beach!
They plan to utilize the beautiful outdoor space for our president’s reception, the drumming circle and other activities. The Keynote and Plenary will both speak to the power of hidden treasures as we deepen our connection with one another and explore the importance of embracing our authentic selves.
While we are sad to have lost our beloved matriarch, Zerka Moreno, they have special events planned to honor her and celebrate her life.
